It's pouring rain with wind shaking the house -- according to weather.com...
Edited on Fri May-29-09 12:55 AM by HarukaTheTrophyWife
It's cloudy with winds of 2 mph.

On edit: Crap, I thought I was in the lounge. Oh well, might as well leave it here, now.

3. No children here!
Of course, all the neighborhood middle school boys come over to play with our dogs. One of them appears to have caught the gay.

10. Mick totally has a crush on his trainer's very ripped Cap
He says it's brotherly, but who knows what happened when Mick went to doggie summer camp last year.

11. GD is awesome
I just hate the British. My concerns have nothing to do with racism.

Concern for oppressed people? Fuck that. Let's start another thread about the Obama kids' swingset.

15. It's a very nice swing set. Bush never got his kids a swing set.
I feel so much better about where the country is going now that the White House has a swing set and an organic vegetable garden, don't you?

I should go check GD:Pinups to see how the puppy is doing.

16. I feel so much better, too!
And I learned something new tonight...I want black people to die, because I'm racist against white people, or something crazy to that effect.

Once again, I <3 GD.

17. What's more "general" than the weather?
Edited on Fri May-29-09 01:33 AM by parasim
I guess since I peruse DU through the Latest Threads lens I really could care less what forum any particular post is posted, I just like to see thoughts from the DU community on whatever.

Why is a thread on weather (which was admittedly, by the OP, posted in an unintended forum) equate to FR in the first place? Is weather not "general"? Is weather discussion only done by freepers?

on edit... oops! I thought this was a General Discussion thread not GLBT... sorry, my apologies. You must forgive us DUers who enter threads through the Latest...

18. Yeah, I quit using weather.com after an episode last year.
Five minutes after I told a coworker we had a 1% chance of storms that afternoon (according to weather.com), a tornado passed within a mile of us.

I'll stick with local weather and the NWS in Norman, thank you very much.

22. We had a hell of a micro-storm here last night...
Lasted 10 minutes, but looked like a hurricane and broke tree limbs all over the place.
News here said that we had about 10k people in the area without power for a few hours too.

Edited on Sat May-30-09 07:32 AM by LostinVA
When I still lived in VA. Scariest 15 minutes of my life, I think! Just me, in the middle of nowhere in the woods on single track trail. I lost m=y contacts it was raining so hard. I was in the middle of -- as you -- said -- a hurricane.
