I am glad that the previous marriages are valid, of course. But those who choose to love and who wish to marry cannot?

4. Yeah that's a real head scratcher...
I know quite a few couples in California who were waiting to get married because they figured that the legal challenges would annul their marriages anyway (so why waste the time and money). And now it turns out that if they had gotten married, they would STILL be married.
