Dean Attack's Romney Gay Flip-Flop
http://www.365gay.com/newscon05/06/062105dean.htm

Democratic Party Chairman Howard Dean went for Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney's jugular at a party meeting Monday, accusing the conservative governor of switching his position on gay unions in a desperate bid to become the frontrunner for the GOP presidential nod in 2008.

This year Romney has been out of the state on numerous occasions speaking to Republican groups in what is seen as a test of his ability to attract broad enough support to make a run for the GOP nomination.

Romney who has been consistently opposed to same-sex marriage but supported a proposed constitutional amendment in Massachusetts that would allow civil unions has made an abrupt turn and now would bar any form of recognition for same-sex couples.

you go Howie

2. I have friends in Mass. who call Romney a Ken-Doll
The conservative Mormon from the nation's most liberal state told Spartanburg Republicans that he has not only opposed gay marriage but also civil unions "from day one."

What a transparent lie!!!!!

3. Oh, our "dear Mittens" . . . how astray has he gone?

Oh, our "dear Mittens" . . . how astray has he gone? We, from Massachusetts, have seen more flip-flops from our "perfectly coiffed" governor "Mittens" Romney than a bunny can reproduce!

Here's one zinger about Mittens' flip-flop on abortion from the lips of the Gov's own high-powered underling:

"He's been a pro-life Mormon faking it as a pro-choice friendly," Governor Mitt Romney (R, MA) adviser Michael Murphy told the National Review (a prominent conservative magazine) in a cover story hitting newsstands on June 3, 2005, entitled "Matinee Mitt." --http://www.boston.com/news/local/articles/2005/06/03/adviser_says_governor_faked_stance_on_abortion (Headlines, page A-1, "Adviser says Governor Faked Stance on Abortion," Boston Globe, Friday, June 3, 2005)
Let me assure non-Bay-Staters that we, here, in Massachusetts have seen who is behind the Great Oz's curtain; Mittens will not be re-elected, nor do we think he's got a chance in hell of being president.

4. Send him back to Utah
The idiot is as much a "Massachusetts resident" as I am (I live in the UK).

He didn't meet the residency requirements to run for governor in Massachusetts, being a Utah resident, but he ended up refiling his taxes over the few years preceding his gubernatorial run to redefine himself as a "resident" and run. That would be like me claiming I didn't really LIVE in the UK all this time, just look at my taxes!

The farce is that this Utah carpetbagger (who spent a few years at Bain Capital in Boston) managed to sell himself as someone who cares about Massachusetts. Then he heads down to South Carolina and whines about how "hard it is" to govern such an evil, horrible, morally bankrupt pinko state.

He cannot be sent back home to Salt Lake City soon enough!
