Belgium Considers Gay Adoption Rights
http://www.365gay.com/newscon05/05/050905belgium.htm

The Belgian government may soon allow same-sex couples to adopt children.

Gay and lesbian couples in Belgium won the right to marry in 2003 (story) but, the law does not provide for adoption. For the past two years LGBT rights groups in the country have been fighting for adoption rights.

In an article to coincide with Pride celebrations in Brussels the French-language daily La Derniere Heure said that Parliament will vote on the adoption issue later this month.
