Very odd. Is this usual? I don't always read through everything. My God. I've recently learned just how racist some of our posters are, and have discussed it on the AA DU group. Is it as bad for the GLBT community here at DU in regards to posters here at DU?

Ayway, it was really strange. Unless he let someone else in under his name. I did that once on a different message board.I had a lot of explaining to do. It was totally embaressing.

9. I have noticed that the disrupters usually work in pairs

and I have seen some with over 3000 posts done in only a couple of months which also is suspicious. I think they try to get that high rating to fool us.

He basically said for us to not come out on DU, in the first thread.

It was really very weird. When several people including myself asked what the hell he meant by the OP, he refused to answer.

The second more vicious attack got to around 60 or 70 posts before it got locked. But I don't blame the mods. DUers came from everywhere and was attacking him back. It all happened with in a space of about 30 minutes, for both threads.

This poster did a real good job looking like one of us. I had even had a PM exchange with him once over something else. Took me totally by surprise but then I am very gullible and it is not the first time someone has totally surprised me. It was so mean but then bigotry always is.
