Snow Day!
And of course, I'm already out with the flu.

Oh well, working on a display board for our fundraiser this Friday. It's kinda fun on a blizzardy day.

1. It's too early in the season for both the flu and snow!
I hope you are feeling better soon.

6. Well, snow on Halloween isn't all that unusual.
But this storm is really nasty.

I'm mostly over it, but just still coughing and worn out. Ugh. No more fever at least. Just don't want to get anyone else sick.

3. Take care!
I'm getting ready to go outside and shovel. Since it's supposed to be 60° on Friday, I'll only clear a path from the front door to the street. It's not too far.

4. Here in Denver, outside there's 6 inches on the ground.
By the time the snow's over tomorrow, there will be 12-15 inches.

My girls are in school, but they should be home. Pick-up at 3 pm is going to be an event.

5. When they called it, it wasn't bad.
But I'm sure glad they did. It's horrible out now.

7. It's snowing here, but it won't be a snow day.
Just lightly, and it will turn to rain by the time school starts.

My district rarely calls a snow day. A little deeper into the winter, we'll have some delayed starts, so the roads will be plowed and cindered, and the sun up, before the buses roll.
