Looking for Choice bracelet slogans
An org I'm involved with found a vendor that will build those silicone reminder bracelets for $.50 each (if we order 5000); we're going to sell them for $3 each and use the proceeds to build a transportation fund for women who need abortions but can't get to where there's a clinic (which is most of Colorado....) Purchases will be tax deductible, blah blah, blah....

We're soliciting ideas for what to put on the bracelets - we have a 50 character limit.

What we don't want are the traditional bumper stickers.

We're also going to do a limited edition of "I had an abortion" bracelets.

Winning entry doesn't get anything except a warm fuzzy feeling of helping women chart their own course in life, though we will do a kudos on our home page if someone wants their pic and name associated with the band.

2. How about something short, sweet and to the point:
"It's MY choice"

:-)

4. I marched years ago in DC at a Pro-Choice rally
(I think Morgan Fairchild was there, that's how long ago) and there were many children there with their parents with signs "I was a choice" .... I loved that.

5. slogans are nice, but
it might be useful to put the website of the organization on the bracelet, so people who buy them know where to refer people to.

6. We're not primarily a Feminist organization.
We're a bunch of freaking heretics, atheists, agnostics and other freethinkers who just happen to believe that the only person who has any say in what a woman does with her body is herself and her doctor.

We want the bracelets to be about the message, not the organization that's raising the funds.

7. Well, that's a nice slogan right there
"We're a bunch of freaking heretics"

I'd wear it. :)
