test here:

Thanks to Professor President George W. Bush, millions of your tax dollars are being pumped into risky abstinence-only programs. But what is Bush really teaching America's teens? Could YOU pass sex-ed by President Bush? Take the quiz to find out...

1. Before birth control pills
abstinence was the only way to prevent unwanted pregnancies. Didn't work then and it won't work now.

2. and informing people is such a more enlightened way...
Not giving anyone information about sexual reproduction is a sin
and a comment on a civilized society.

3. Nah
Even in New England, gas station mens' rooms had condom dispensers. Although they were only legally allowed to sell condoms to married men, I don't think anybody had trouble getting them.

There was also the diaphragm, not a terribly effective device until spermicides were invented, but better than nothing.

Docs routinely broke the law to prescribe this stuff to unmarried people, because you're right, abstinence has never worked and never will.

4. What's next? Instead of abstinence, the next plan will be castration.
Oy vey. If you're going to let our children learn about sexual intercourse, let them learn about safe sexual intercourse. It is a natural feeling to be sexually aroused and let our children know the truth about safe sex. "Just say no" doesn't work if you've already said yes.
