Odd Fellows Hall (TWO)
In 1923 the Odd Fellows Hall was completed on the abandoned sites of the ancient Indian settlement. The Hall was dedicated with great fanfare and participated by all the citizens living in the area. By now the legend of the Un-Gaha-Ra had been largely forgotten.

Most of the first floor, the side facing what is now Hogg's dairy was rented to a family named Carmen who established a very successful clothing and general store. The second floor was given over to the village General Practitioner and the Village Dentist and various other professional offices.

The Odd Fellow Club Rooms and Grand Ball Room were located on the third floor. Gala dances and parties were held here, the music supplied by talented stage bands. The basement was not used at all in the early years but later contained a bar room and bowling alley.

A large tunnel connected the basement to the creek side and provided access for plumbing of water, sewer and gas. The creek end of the tunnel was secured by an iron door.

In later years the tunnel was bricked up-and for very good reasons.
