1. So if Pittsburgh comes back to win game 6, can we expect another
letter of complaint to the league?

6. Yeah..Detroit got 6 consecutive power play oppurtunities
I wonder if there's going to be any calls to the league over that by our resident Red Wing fans?

9. Oh, right, the PENGUINS are the only team allowed to have power plays
I WILL write to the league to remind them of that. :sarcasm:

I've never seen anybody play with the puck like Datsyuk.

7. Oh, guys, come on now
Even the NBC announcers who have done nothing but slobber over Cleary and Malkin couldn't find anything bad to say about the Wings. They got some early opportunties, capitalized on them, killed some penalties for a change (key), kept their mouths shut, and played a good strong game. Having Datsuyk back really gave them some energy tonight.

Even Sir Sidney cracked and ended up in the penalty box.

It's going to be exciting to watch on Tuesday but until then I'm going to bask in the glow of a great win! Ozzie! Ozzie!

8. It was a huge differential in power plays that made it possible for the Pens to beat the Caps. nt

10. Gotta love those Detroit fans
the sound system was playing "I Want to Rock and Roll all Night" when they dropped the puck - then turned it off when play started, and the fans kept singing for two more minutes!

What a difference with Datsyuk back. And with a little normal scheduling (day off between games).

I'll take Datsyuk and Zetterberg over Crosby and Malkin any day.

I didn't complain about any calls - I don't even think Malkin should have necessarily been suspended for a game, though I don't believe the league would have extended that courtesy to some players. I just didn't like the brutal scheduling, which favored the Penguins over the Wings - giving them one extra day off when the Wings were the ones who earned home ice.

Thankfully, we played through it.
