Your opinions, please, re the Iditarod and photo links.

My husband and I will be attending the start of the Iditarod this weekend, and then we're going out to Nome next week (for a week) for the finish. I will be taking a bunch of pictures, I'm sure, and posting a new gallery on my website.

I remember when I posted a story about the Jamaican musher who was running the Yukon Quest (which ended up here after I had posted in GD), somebody mentioned that certain people on this forum don't think mushing is a "sport."

My question is, do you guys want me to post a link here to my photos when I get them up? One thing I know for sure is that I WON'T be posting the link in the Lounge because I get in a fight with the PETA people every year. Just let me know your thoughts -- the link will be in the Photo Group, in any event.

3. Mushing is

more of a sport than NASCAR is and it gets plenty of coverage on the sports board.

I would love to see your photos, it has been four years since I have seen snow on the ground...and the last time may just have been a snow cone someone dropped. It's hard to tell in Texas.

Not so much last year, but year before last I got slammed for merely showing pictures of the dogs, not even in harness. It made me a little defensive. But if it makes you feel better, I retract my snark.
