Ok.. so the bright pink color of the shirt was a little much, but kudos to him for wearing a t-shirt with our new president (and his family) on it as he sang America's National Anthem!

BTW ~ He did a great job singing it too!!

1. I love when they play both anthems (which you usually only see on Canadian TV)

I went to a game in Vancouver, BC shortly after 9/11 and the Canadian fans went crazy for US national anthem and waved American flags. It was very moving.

Other than that, an NHL All-Star game with no Red Wings was a sham, and I'm glad the East won!!!! Go East!

2. I learned the words once to ...

Oh Canada...
but I don't recall them now. I loved going there and visiting my friends in BC.
We always had time to go to a Canucks game!!

3. I frequently listen

to a late night sports talk show on CKNW out of Vancouver BC because they talk nothing but hockey. Well, on the evening of the 20th, virtually the entire first hour was devoted to Obama...they just seem to love him and the promise he holds.
