Stephon Marberry? Someone explain this to me.
The Knicks are paying him millions not to play? Who's running the front office over there? With talk that the Celtics are interested (and I can understand the Knicks not wanting to deal in their division), I don't know why they won't unload him and get on with rebuilding the franchise.

1. Well, I Hope They Stick To Their Guns
That punk doesn't deserve to play on a team as good as the Celtics.

And, didn't Garnett kind of have a fallng out with Marberry when they were both in MN?

2. His contract may be guaranteed,
so either way, he'd get paid.

Personally, I'd rather have this cancer away from my team, even if it's costing me millions.

3. Knick fan since 1970. I have lost all respect for the franchise. The front office
is as bad as any franchise in the NBA. WHy the hell does the coach only play 7 guys???

4. That has always been D'Antoni's way.
It worked ok with the Suns, until his star power forward gets a one-game suspension in a playoff series against the Spurs for taking two steps off of the bench, thus ending any real chance for the Suns to win that series.

It seems odd that such a high-tempo offense would use only seven players, but it does seem to work.
