How Dumb Are Fox's NFL Analysts?
Okay, in tonight's game, Ariz. vs. Carolina, they could not figure out why Jake Delhomme kept throwing passes to covered receivers and not seeing the field.

Fox Geniuses, the reason why Delhomme struggled is because he's not the same QB when he has throw every down. He's a QB that plays off of his running game. If the Panthers were running the ball well, the coverage on passes would have been totally different. This is true for all teams that are run first, pass second. When you're running the ball well, safeties and LBs play closer to the line of scrimmage, leaving openings in the secondary and one-on-one coverages on your receivers.

What they should have done is analyze Delhomme's QB stats when he throws over 30 passes. In three games this year, he threw over thity passes, and in those games, he threw 2 TDs and 3 Interceptions.

1. Who called the game?
I have been saying for years, the guys on TV are the worst. Madden chief among them. If I wanted to listen to an oaf and the end of the bar comment on the game, I would watch it at a bar.

2. It was Kenny Albert, Darryl Johnston, and Tony Siragusa.

They were too busy talking about how much they love the show "24" to think about why Delhomme wasn't playing well.

BTW, Nice analysis Yavin4.
