Good Day for Ted Thompson
It seems that today would be a pretty good day for Ted Thompson. When the Packers organziation allowed Brett Favre to be traded to the New York Jets Thompson was criticized for the decision. Now that the Jets were eliminated from playoff contention partly due to interceptions thrown by Brett Favre it would seem that Thompson has been proven right in terms of his decision to let Brett Favre go.

It happens to all the greats... When they hit it---they hit it fast.

2. The Jets And The Packers Are Both Watching The Playoffs This Year, But
the Jets have more wins, and thompson (asshole) handled the whole "Brett Thing" foolishly. Aaron Rodgers had better stats than Brett Favre, but the Jets had three more wins than the Packers. thompson (asshole) had plans to rid the Packers of Favre long before this past summer. I'd say he had those plans since he came to Green Bay in 2005. Favre could have handled things better too, but he wasn't the one managing a team. thompson (asshole) likes to build a team through the draft. Local sports radio announcers say he has to change his approach, change his direction. He better change something, or he'll be gone sooner than he thinks. I, as a Packer fan, will always be grateful for what Brett Favre did for my Packers.

3. If TT woulda kept Favre, you'da got yer wish, he'd be gone
The fact of the matter is Arod and Chad both played better than BF. With Favre playing on this team, we would've been playing for last place in the league. The packers would have had to stop evrything and reboot their offense just to suit him ( something the Jets players, not fans or radio guys, are complaining about).

The problem isnt TT it is in the trenches:
our defense and defensive line was beat up. our defensive game plan was predictable& the 4-3 has to go
our offensive line has talent, but the zone blocking scheme is not suited for their talents
special teams play& penalties cost us games

None of this is TT's fault. Take heart the Packers will be back next year with MM's best team ever

4. Its over for Mangini, but not the Jets, because the ego trip lives on
1. Favre got Mangini fired, either thru his poor play, or having to design an offense around him, or now word comes that he did not like Mangini criticizing him for his bad play. favre and back-stabbing press stories seem to go hand in hand

2. Now he is playing the " should I stay or should I go" press spotlight game. again

3. another last game letdown throwing the ball to the other team. shit half the defenses in the league want BF to keep playing

4. Arod is a solid NFL QB. He made some rookie mistakes, but put the team in winning position in the 4th quater several times. Defense and special teams let us down late, not our QB

5. the only bad thing is, we would've gotten a second-round draft pick if the Jets made the playoffs
