Who have predicted these five would be the top rated QBs in the NFL after 4 weeks?
B. Favre 110.8
P. Rivers 109.8
D. Brees 106.9
J. Campbell 102.2
K. Warner 100.8

Meanwhile P. Manning is 24th and 2008 Pro Bowlers M. Hasselbeck and D. Anderson are 31st and 32nd respectively.

1. No surprise
that Brees is up there. He has a passle of very good receivers and one on the injured list. And the O line is very good in the passing game. The Saints would be 4-0 if it weren't for some knucklehead decisions by the head coach. Brees will maintain, I don't know if Campbell and Warner will. Brees is the best in the NFC.

3. Campbell's coach is supposed to be the master at bringing along QB's
Alot of Seattle people give Jim Zorn credit for helping Matt Hasselback become more than a mediocre QB...

4. Zorn Was A Solid Quarterback Himself

Not spectacular but definitely solid.

I have a theory about coaches, by the way. I think guys who were workmanlike as athletes make much better coaches than guys who were gifted players. Truly gifted players never had to be analytical about their game. Less gifted players had to figure things out. Best example: Ted Williams (.344 lifetime) was not nearly as good at coaching batters as Charlie Lau (.255).

6. One of the more entertaining QBs in NFL history.
He was just a lot of fun to watch, and even though Largent is a schmuck now, he was a great receiver to throw to.

5. Not really surprised by the top 3, though I guess Rivers is a bit of one.

Campbell and Warner surprise me though. Campbell looked mighty good against Dallas though, that's for sure.
