Does the NFL Realize
That I could care less how the San Diego - Kansas City game ends?

I want to see the Jets - Cardinals game!!!

God damn, it's nearly a quarter after 4 and the game still isn't on. What the frig is happening?

We don't need to see the end of a game they just cut to at 4 p.m. especially since nobody in New York cares about it.

Jeez. I hate the NFL.

1. You must be a Jets' fan.
Believe me, you're not missing anything.

3. Here too.
They did it here in New England too. Usually the NFL won't start showing the 4 o'clock games until all the 1 o'clock games are over (unless they go extremely long, in which case they'll cut out and jump over to the local game).

5. I've had Sunday Ticket . . . .
and I loved it. I loved directv, too. it broke my heart when we moved to a more wooded area and a grove of trees obstructed the southern sky. and even more unfortunately, our local cable company is a little group of fascists.

as I understand it, though, directv's exclusive contract with the NFL is up after this season (maybe the next, I can't remember exactly), so maybe we'll have more and better full-coverage NFL options in the relatively near future.

6. Directv has resigned......
http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/thr/television/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1000708975

"DirecTV will continue to have exclusive rights to "NFL Sunday Ticket" through 2010; it will pay $3.5 billion, compared with the $2 billion it pays in the current deal."

7. That's nothing.....
A couple of weeks ago Fox switched from the Giants game(the blow out of the Vikings) in the middle of the 3rd quarter to a different game.

The crappy thing was Directv blocks out games that are broadcast locally. So we had to raise hell with Directv to get them to switch.

8. It's ridiculous.
There is no reason that a 60 minute game should take longer than three hours to play. The league needs to speed things up.
