Bucs safety Nicholson tasered twice during nightclub arrest

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- Tampa Bay Buccaneers reserve safety Donte Nicholson was tasered twice and arrested during a weekend scuffle with police officers at the entrance of a St. Petersburg nightclub.

The third-year pro, who appeared in one game last season, was taken to Pinellas County Jail early Sunday and charged with misdemeanor battery and resisting arrest without violence. He was released after posting $300 bond.

The Bucs had no immediate comment on the arrest.

Pinellas County Sheriff's Sgt. Jim Bordner said Nicholson's roommate, Torrey Robinson, was also arrested after scuffling with security guards, who were trying to prevent him from re-entering the club when it was closing.

5. Well my post was more of a tongue and cheek shot
at how there always seems to be an NFL player in trouble -- both black and white.

You may be unfamiliar with this considering you say you're not a football fan.

So yea. :)

4. Haven't all professional athletes learned to stay away from "nightclubs" yet?
Alcohol + jerky fans + celebrities = trouble

7. Jeremy Shockey strolling in the French Quarter
at two in the morning should be a sight to behold. The Giants traded him to the Saints this week.

8. The Buc's are the new Bengals.
Jon Gruden will sign any player no matter how big a scumbag they might be.
