2. I didn't even watch tonight
I pulled for LSU on Sunday night, and the way they blew that game by allowing a follow-up lay-in with 7 tenths remaining was absolutely sickening.

Tonight I knew Tennessee would roll, so I bet a little bit but didn't pay attention. Stanford lost to my alma mater USC this season, so that was enough of a hint at their vulnerability vs. Tennessee and that defense.

I've gotta concede Candace Parker may be the closest thing I've seen to Cheryl Miller. Not quite as fluid or dynamic offensively, but she plays bigger. Too bad both of them had knee injuries.

3. There's talkt of Summit coaching a boys team somewhere...
I'm uncertain how well 18 year old hotheads will accept her authority (both recruiting and on-court), though. There's also the learning curve of the athletic difference between boys and girls, but Summit is smart enough to pick that up.

5. She's coached a boy's AAU team
She's coached her son's AAU team in Tennessee.

Check out the video after the one kid tells her that he can't guard the point. "You can't say can't to me!"

7. This is another SEC back to back championship.....
Florida and LSU won football back to back in '06 & '07. Florida won back to back men's basketball in '06 & 07 and now UT has won back to back Women's hoops titles.

Georgia and Florida will be ranked inside the Top 5 in football in '08 so perhaps.....

Or maybe it time for a back to back Heisman winner.

8. Take the * you were saving for the Pats and give it to them
think back to the game in which Rutgers had them beaten fair and square, at home, except that the clock remained mysteriously suspended at five-tenths or something like that. :tinfoilhat:

At the very least, that might have affected the tournament seedings, especially Rutgers', possibly setting up a rematch of last year's "Imus Bowl". Instead, we're stuck with an outfit that calls itself, in 2008, the "Lady Vols". :puke:
