But Spring is coming. And hope springs eternal. So I am jumping back on the RAH RAH bus again with highly inflated, but altogether possible, predictions and expectations for a BeanTown Redeption Rally after October...

1. And they might meet the Phillies in the World Series

Just trying to stir up Mets fans before the season starts. If the Phillies are 500 or better on 1 May they'll have a great season.

2. Every spring my hope is eternal

For the past 40 years I get very hopeful during spring training. But regardless of the disappointment come autumn (in all but two years) I have enjoyed the games all year and I look forward to the next season. Like a rebirth. It's a wonderful feeling.

In fact, I got tickets to an August game in the mail today. I love Fenway Park!
