Spent Most of weekend honeydoing, not much time to post but the landscape looks trim.

Suitable Punishment? (as I've previously posted) NO post season appearance this year. A chump change fine for a multimillionaire and the loss of one draft choice have resulted in WHAT? In a couple of weeks the following statement may be made: "The coach of the Patriots admitted to cheating this season. At the end of the season, the Patriots won the Super Bowl." No doubt would-be Billichicks are quaking in their boots at the thought of dealing with the new Sheriff in town.

If Billichick had to walk into the locker room and tell his teammates (he is a member of the team is he not?) that the Giants game would be the last game of their season regardless of wins because one of their teammates (Billichick) screwed up maybe the indiscretioin would get the attention it deserves. If Billichick had to hold a press conference and tell Patriot Nation that there would be no playoff games, no shot at the Super Bowl because a team member (Billichick) had screwed up maybe the wrongdoing and the so called penalties wouldn't be written off as so many tax deductions.

And I chuckle at being called a Patriot Hater. Is a father who wants his children to know the difference between right and wrong and parents accordingly a child hater?

I look forward to being schooled by those who value Trophies more than integrity.
