1. well
Roethlisberger has become my favorite pro athlete this year, I haven't had one in a while but, the other two are Ward also, and yeah Bettis.
Polamau is great too, I love his way of play.

2. Ok here they are
1. Brett Favre
2. Ahman Green
3. Aaron Kampmann
You said players, so I took that to mean current players. Actually, I like Marvin Harrison and most former Iowa Hawkeye players too, but being a Packer fan, I feel compelled to list them first.

3. I agree with you 100%.
Although, if I was permitted a fourth, I'd have to pick Marvin Harrison. Makes a brilliant catch, gets up, hands the ball to the ref, gets ready for the next play. No dancing crap, etc.

(Really like Polamalu, the guy is a little bulldog out there).

17. DItto...
For the moment at least. My heart is always with the hapless Lions but Tom Brady is a Michigan alum as am I and he's so fun to watch. And he's all about TEAM, something he learned at Michigan.

7. I'm required to include Moss
Everyone in my family went to Marshall except myself and about 4 others (including those who married in)and yes the family would know if I said something negative about Randy or Chad.

10. Didn't know about Marshall, sorry for that.

Isn't Pennington a better choice if you have to go with someone from Marshall? At least Pennington has never walked off the field or done the innumerable, idiotic things Moss has done.

His behavior could be excused for his youth - but now that he's been in the league for a few years, he's gotta start growing up.

On edit: I'm off my soapbox now.

15. They've done very well for a smaller school
They might have been the only team from a non-BCS conference to have 3 Heisman contenders in a row (Moss, Pennington, Leftwhich). I like Brown too - not too often that you see someone playing WR, CB, and PR in the pros.

12. Brady, Rodney Harrison and McNabb.
A QB from Michigan...

And two local guys. Harrison and McNabb both grew up just a couple of miles from where I live. I even played on the same Jr. Football Team as Harrison, but many years before.

16. Brian Dawkins, Donovan McNabb, Brian Westbrook
My three favorites who do not play for my team are Tom Brady (NE-QB), Ed Reed (Bal-SS) and LaDainian Tomlinson (SD-RB). Brady is a winner, Reed is a killer and L.T. is a game breaker.

26. Hines Ward, James Farrior, and Zack Thomas
Obligatory two Steelers and I just love watching Thomas play defense. He is better than the great (but highly overrated) Ray Lewis).
