Stinkin Rotten Gators--- I guess I gotta give them props.
They just plowed through the competition.....Truly a great b-ball team!

Unfortunately for the one-tooth Gator fans, their coach will be gone...their starters will hit the NBA, and they'll go back to being the stinkin rotten gators from that little hick town in North Florida.

Gator fans celebrating.

1. Not Impressed by Noah Other thoughts on the Game
I do congratulate the Gators for winning the game; however, I now see why so many people have been down on Joekim Noah. He did not seem to really want to take on many of the Ohio State players. He seemed to be willing to let them score in the paint without really challenging them. In addition, I was able to see that Noah really does not have a 15 foot shot. It seems to me that he was just lucky to be able to play on a team with such good players.

Also, it seemed to me the referees were favoring Greg Oden. I think he should have fouled out in that it seemed to me that the referees allowed him to get away with at least two fouls at the beginning of the game. On the opposite side I did not see why Noah was called for a foul on Oden and why Oden was allowed to shot two free throws when it appeared to me that Oden was not in the motion of shooting. It seemed to me that he had his back to the rim and was not going to shoot the ball. Also, I do not think Florida was in the penalty at that time.

However, Corey Brewster and Lee Humphrey played great games. Brewster deserved the most outstanding player in that he did everything and was a major part of the reason Florida won the game. Without Brewster Florida probably would have lost the game. Anytime Ohio State even attempted a comeback Brewster was there to prevent the comeback. Also, Humphrey played his part in that he hit a number of three that kept the Gators ahead.

3. The refs don't call fouls on Greg Oden
at least not as many as they should. I don't get it.

Will he be back next year? My thought is no.

9. Had those 2 Oden muggings been called fouls.........
this game would have been over by halftime just like the UF v UCLA game finals was last year.

Check out this picture of Oden "blocking" Brewers shot right under the basket. And a foul was not called on this. If called correctly, Oden's on the bench with 2 fouls and the Gator's lead by 15 at at halftime rather than just 11.

Note in the picture below.... Oden's block was while he never made ANY contact with the ball.

6. Joakim reminds me why I rooted against his father when
he was playing tennis. God, what a shithead on the court.

4. If they stink so bad, get you're nose outta their...
I'm missing a tooth, and one's broken off; but it's right up front where everybody can see it. Got a great house in Texas, but am working diligently to buy that trailer on the Southeast side of Gainesburg (it's near Newnan's Lake where I used to fish with a cane pole.) By the way, Clark Kerr in a 1964 address to the University of Florida, said in the near future the University would be one of the top schools in the nation, both academically and in sports; I believe that is two (2) teeth.

Meanwhile, relax: football season is nearly five months away. UF Class o' '70.
