Pedro really hasn't pitched much since June and the Mets have been getting it done without him. Sure I'd love to have a healthy Pedro be the ace going into the playoffs but El Duque has been lights out the last few months plus he's a proven big game pitcher...Glavine and Trachsel are no slouches either. The Mets have found a way to win all year using 13 different starting pitchers so I have no doubts that they will do well in the playoffs without him
