My niece's husband is the human part of a baseball mascot. He showed up before his wedding in the mascot suit with a tux jacket (tails) over it. For the actual wedding he was himself in his real groom's suit. But it was cute.

And for some reason, out of all things, *that* makes me feel good about being an American. Politics, policy and all else aside, sometimes it just feels good to watch four people in sausage costumes run around at a baseball game. Like "where else can you see that?" kind of thing. I think that's something we can all agree on. Seriously.
