Everybody loves the backup quarterback.
One funny thing about the NFL is that everyone loves the backup quarterback. I was just watching the Jets-Titans game. Kerry Collins of the Titans had a rough first quarter. So the braintrust at Tenn. put in rookie Vince Young. Vince Young completes 3 consecutive passes to start. The fans are going wild. Then, the fourth pass is an interception. D'oh!

I wish vince the best, but that was plain damn dumb. Throw him out there and demoralize your starter.

How did the Titans ever get to the Super Bowl with people making dumbass choices like this?

Now, speaking about backups, I'm all for Romo to take the reigns of the Cowboys. I think he's more than ready.
