Martina Navratilova's final match today
Would you believe just a month shy of her 50th birthday she's in the Mixed Doubles Final tonight at the US Open? I hope to god it's on tv because it'll be the last chance to watch one of the greatest ever players at the net.

1. Did you ever see her play
in person?

She has such a presence about her. Just amazing.

2. Unbelievable
I put her in a category with few others.

In no particular order I'd say these are some of the greatest athletes of the past 5 decades:
Wayne Gretzky, Edwin Moses, Michael Jordan, Muhammad Ali, Secretariat, Sergei Bubka, Carl Lewis, Roger Federer and Eric Heiden.

Everyone else knew they were playing for second when these folks (or Horse) came to town.

Sorry Tiger golf is a game.
;)

4. Good to see you
But come on he doesn't even carry his own bags.

Lee Trevino athlete? And who was that guy "The Walrus" an athlete? LOL!

Hey now I know it is actually one of the most impossible skills, even though I shot a 48 on a cheezy 9 hole my first time out, but it just don't getcha all sweaty and pumped like.....bowling?

5. Bowling is a sport too
Golf is indeed very, very hard and to be a master like Tiger is, especially playing on all types of courses, he deserves a mention. He will eventually become the greatest golfer of all time.

BTW, I don't really like Tiger all that much but I will defend him when someone doesn't think he should be included in a list of the greatest athletes of all time.

6. Spoiler, perhaps
May she enjoy her retirement. She's been a great force in tennis.

And to go out a winner!
