Was Tiger actually glad that it started raining?
Edited on Mon Aug-28-06 01:01 PM by rocknation
He was clearly pissed about not winning the third hole in the playoff. Then it started pouring, which I thought was really going to send him off the deep end, but it seemed to me that he actually perked up. He hit his next shot, then sank a winning eight-foot putt, as though there weren't a cloud in the sky while Stuart Cink got bogged down in the rough.

This weekend, he's off to Ireland for his fifth win in a row. But it's no mystery why Tiger is winning more--he's decided to get out and start PLAYING more. I don't know whether it's due to his falling back in love with the game or wanting to catch Jack Nicklaus, but it sure it fun!

1. He should play more in his 30s
That's the peak decade for a golfer, and I've heard many pros and even amateurs say they wished they had played more in their 30s. I'm into my 40s and I've damn sure lost strength and distance.

2. not playing in Ireland
the Ryder Cup team flew to Ireland to check out the K Club, this week's tournament is in Boston (the Deutschbank).

hmm, let's see. he's played two exhausting weeks in a row and flew to Ireland in the middle of the week to play a couple rounds. Tiger or the field? with anyone else, you wouldn't even think to ask.
