1. love to see it. Unfortunatley Kitna's our QB.

Rolling eyes, indeed.

Sounds like our high priced, pot smoking, practice skipping, first round selection Charles Rogers MIGHT NOT EVEN MAKE THE TEAM!!!

How, oh HOW can people who call themselves professionals make such an error in judgement???

2. Charles Rogers was never professional
He was a talented kid who thought the world owed him something. He barely stayed eligible at State, gets injured at the drop of a hat, and stayed too close to home and its bad influences; hangers on and people who assured him of his greatness at every opportunity.

I read an article someplace (can't remember) that said schools and pro teams actually aren't doing these hometown heroes from questionable backgrounds any good by recruiting and drafting them so close to home. For these guys to succeed they need to get far away from the negative influences. Witness, Maurice Clarett. Would he have straightened out if he had left Ohio?

4. Actually, I meant Lions 'management'. But I agree with your assessment

of Rogers, wholeheartedly. It just astounds me that the Lion brass couldn't see this coming. Have they ever heard of an aptitute test or something like that? I'd love to see this kid's 'Wonderlic' score...

3. Arizona not so crazy a pick
Terrible division + Edgerrin James at RB + Lienert whenever he comes on line = a bright future and a decent present.

6. Arizona won't keep up with Seattle
But they've got a shot at a wildcard.

5. Detroit Lions? Superbowl champs?
I don't think the Lions even know what the Super Bowl is.

11. You obviously don't read the Browns boards...
Their fans think they have the best team EVERY year.

The crushing reality, when it hits, is pure gold.
