It seems to me that there may be some trouble for the Texans and that the idea of not drafting Reggie Bush may be shown to be a bad idea. First, Dominick Davis has yet to practice with the Texans due to a knee injury and it is possible that he may not be healthy enough to start the first game of the season. In addition, the Texans draft pick Mario Williams seems to have a toe injury. I know that Williams could very well come back from the toe injury and play and even Davis could be ready to play either at the beginning of the season or at some point during the season. However, with recents events it seems to me that not drafting Reggie Bush with the first pick of the draft could turn out to be a bad idea. What happens if both Davis and Williams are not able to start the season. It seems to me that it would have been a good idea to draft Bush just as a back up to Davis.
I will admit that I was one of the people who thought the Texans should either trade their number one pick or draft Bush and then trade him. However, that was before I knew Davis was injuried. Also, I thought the Texans needed to draft an offensive lineman not a defensive lineman. With Davis hurt the Texans should have drafted Reggie Bush. So what do others think?
