How about a DU Fantasy Premier League?

The World Cup is only just over, the cream of Serie A has been relegated and in only a few weeks time the English Premier League season starts.

Therefore it's time for me to ask if anyone here is interested in a DU fantasy football league for the English Premier League. Just pick your team, make transfers where nessessary and try to beat the rest of us at managing an top Engish soccer team!

not sure on all the rules, I must say, but that's ok (do you have to keep your team under the 100 million? if you have a player appreciate in value, do you lose that additional value if you transfer them, or can you upgrade? I guess I'll find out...)

7. As the new season is but a week away...

I thought I'd best give this thread a wee kick!

If you wish to join the DU fantasy soccer league go to http://fantasy.premierleague.com/index.html register, create your team (you have a buget of £100 million pounds and you will have a reserve goalie and three other substitutes) and then you will need to enter that team into the DU Premier League.

In order to do that click onto "Leagues" and in the box for joining a private league, type in 59073-54733 (or cut & paste it from here if you like!). You will then be eligible to compete with the rest of us to have the best fantasy English Premier League side! :bounce:

Anyway, if you are still in need of some footy action, the Community Sheild is this weekend, and the lower leagues have a full programme of fixtures. I will actually be at the worst football ground in England (Layer Road) to watch my local team (Colchester United) take on Barnsley.

I'm VERY to see some fellowe Duers who also lvoe the EPL as I do :bounce: This will be my second season of watvhing the EPL, and i think I'm going to support..Arsenal! :-) Man U is turning into a real mess, Chelsea is starting to resemble what happened in Real Madrid, and the only other ePL tean that has impressed me so far in the pre seaosn is Liverpool. But arsenal has TH 14 :bounce:

BTW are there any US Arsenal clubs?
