Mia St. John a Democrat

A few months ago someone posted a topic asking for the names of professional athletes that were Democrats. Today I found out that she (Mia St. John) is a Democrat. Not only is she a Democrat, but she is proud and active. She has a blog on her website where she talks about her activities. She talked about how she marched in one of the May 1st marches. She also mentioned her thoughts about the war in Iraq and government spending.

I had at first done a search on St. John because I had recently read an article that had come out a few years ago (2001) that claimed that St. John was soon going to retire from boxing. The article surprised me in that I thought for sure that I had seen her fight as late as last year. Finally, she used to be married to Kristoff St. John.
