You must hate them just because they have been winners in the past. There is no other reason to. Pretty likeable team, especially Stevie Y., suffered a devastating injury when one of their players almost died on the bench this year, have a loyal fan base, and are from a good working class pro-union town, have one of the coolest logos in the game, draw well on the road, and are one of the Original Six hockey teams that kept the NHL going through hockey's lean years.

And they haven't even gotten out of the second round since 2002. So on what basis do you hate them?

Plus, it's Red Wings, not Redwings.
