Green Bay/Vikings halftime.....
Woah.. what is up with Farve... seriously... that pass near the end of the quarter..... what the heck? I couldn't believe he tossed it.

The Vikings have been able to bring it to the Packers so far, and that gave them a 17-0 quick lead.... not to mention the two interceptions... the Pakcers seem to have butterfingers..

still a lot of football though.. it's far from over.

Hope you all are enjoying the game as much as I am.

2. Wild game
with those two missed field goals (1-MN, 1-GB).

There were some stupid penalties the Vikings have to stop doing.

Farve does not seem to be on today. He can easily get picked off again next half.

5. I knew he seemed off..
but the foward latteral (Sorry I can't spell it).. really baffled me. I mean mistakes happen and all, but he was clearly pass the line, he must of either A. just paniced or B. Just forgot where he was on the field for a second in either case you could see right away he knew he made a mistake.

4. Yes, it's nice to see MN playing well in the playoffs for once!
I'm sure Farve will make the 2nd half pretty exciting. This one will go down to the wire.

Go Vikes!

6. Looks like the Wizzard gave Dante a heart this time.
If the Vikes win, there will be 3 dome teams left in the NFC.

7. The pass
That was pure self-preservation by Farve (and very smart.) He realized that he had no shot to get to either the endzone or the sideline without getting absolutely hammered by 3 guys.

If he doesn't get rid of that ball, he wouldn't be playing in the second half and he might be unconscious.

It's been an interesting game. Kudos to the much maligned Vikings for coming out with intensity.

The Pack can win this, but they cannot have a single turnover in the second half.

8. OKay,
I can understand that reasonsing, just seem kind of odd that's all, but I do see your reasoning when it comes to the pass.

and about not giving up a single turnover.. Farve's third interception... "small groan" it isn't over just because of that.. just responding to your can't give up a single turnover.

9. The Green Bay offense looks as bad as I've ever seen it
They've turned it over, so now I guess I'm stuck with my prediction that they won't win the game. :spank:

Yeah, you're right. That was a dumb way for me to put it.

Having said that, I don't like their chances at all.

10. Well it's 24-17 now
They can still do it. Need to stop the Vikings in their tracks, preferrably quick, on this drive.

12. Yeah what a douche.
"Oh that was disgusting! What a disgraceful display!"

What the fuck was disgusting? It's not like he really pulled his pants down and shit on the goalpost. I'm so sick of the sanctimonious bullshit spouted by these announcers. I found it amusing.

14. Virtual moon
Made the gestures to pull his pants down by the goalpost to the Packer fans. Never did pull his pants down, but was shown on TV, and Joe Buck blew a "moral" fuse.

16. Buck was kinda crazy
But that was a seriously low (NO) class move by Moss.

Par for the course for him though.

Both of them are stuck in eternal adolescence.

That might have been funny if I was still in 8th grade.

19. It's funny if you're 12 years old.
It's not when your an adult.

I expect more creativity than an adolescent repeat from someone who makes that kind of money.

And, as far as arrested development and eternal adolescence, Moss and Bush are in the very same boat, like it or not.

20. I am an adult
I guess I don't live up to your expectations you have for adult humor. You need to put a sticky and advise us to what should and should not be funny as YOU see it at different age levels.
You seem to be confused with the arrested development and eternal adolescence of a super power leader and a sports figure.
There is quite the difference of expectations that each of us hold for these two figures. One whether we like it or not is the pResident and one is just and entertainer. Moss is payed to entertain and entertain he does. It was just a payback for all the crap the packer fans give Moss. (Did you read any of the signs your fans held up?) Lighten up it's just a game.

21. Just read Dungy thought it was humerous. He said the fans there
moon the visitors bus after any of the Packers wins. This is so overblown it is funny. After the NFL and Fox sex video with TO and Nicollete, they have the gall to talk about tasteless? Almost as bad as the shows they put on their network.

23. What's overblown is the foolish defense of Moss.
Edited on Mon Jan-10-05 05:22 PM by HuckleB
All anybody else said about it has been what's fact. It was stupid, and it showed him to be stuck in eternal adolescence. Simple as that. Then his defenders go through the roof, trying to paint it all as so much more, bashing announcers for filling the dead space on the air, which is what they always do and is what they're paid to do. That's bizarre in itself, but then there's a whole host of people over the age of 16 trying to convince themselves that it's actually funny.

LOL! Now that is funny!

:) :) :)

12-year-old humor is 12-year-old humor. Simple as that. It's a developmental thing. Moss is stuck in arrested development. This move showed that to the world. There's really no defending it, though you will try and try and try, I'm sure.

Why do I get the feeling that you wouldn't have found it funny if Moss played for any other team?

Hmmm.
