ESPN spread BS story of Steeler fans throwing Garbage on Maddox Lawn
This story died a quick death in Pittsburgh after Tommy's wife reported it false. I was screaming at the TV tonight when ESPN announcers spread the BS story. And even if it had been true, it would've been one or two idiots not the whole fan base! Oh yeah, Pittsburgh fans are tough on QB's. Hell they cheered one time when Bradshaw got hurt cause he was playing so miserably.

Mrs. Maddox throws a flag on husband's complaints

Beleaguered Steelers quarterback Tommy Maddox preferred "no comment" to another turnover Friday.

Maddox repeatedly declined invitations to shed light on contradictory statements offered by his agent and his wife in the wake of what happened at Maddox' home following Sunday's 23-17 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Maddox lost a fumble and tossed three interceptions -- including the game winner in overtime.

On Thursday, Jennifer Maddox disputed a Pittsburgh Tribune-Review report that vandals had thrown objects on the family's lawn in Adams, Butler County. She also told WPXI-TV that her children were not harassed at school or on the school bus.

1. nobody should be surprised
that the Sunday night ESPN announcing crew is utterly full of shit. No offense to the brain-damaged, but all three of them fit the bill pretty well.

One of them called Troy Polamalu "articulate" last night. What exactly were they expecting of him?

2. Mumbling and drool, apparently.
Is it entirely impossible for any sports announcer on a network or a major cable channel to not be a complete idiot?

3. The Sunday night crew is pretty bad....
...to answer your question, Troy Aikman is a good announcer, who actually enlightens, instead of talking just to hear his own voice.

4. ESPN Sucks
Did you ever notice how pro-repuke most of the ESPN announcers are? Two that come to mind are Colin Cowherd and Erik Kuselius are for sure. They both suck.
