I Hate God Damned NBA Referees

In the Heat-Nets game tonight, with 5.2 seconds left, Dwyane Wade drove to the lane, got barely touched by Richard Jefferson and got a foul call.

In the next possession, Vince Carter drove down the lane, got HACKED by Alonzo Mourning and Wade and didn't get a call.

Guess which team was the home team?

It was such a good game though. Carter had a dunk on Mourning that will be shown on all the highlights throughout the year. It was as good as any Vince Carter play I've ever seen.

I hate the NBA refs, they ruin more games than any other referees in any other sport.

I would tend to say that officiating for all sports has gone way downhill lately.

The Spurs got burned on a couple of calls tonight. Salvatore was officiating, so it's to be expected.

They really need to clean up the rules, simplify them, and maybe add another ref. Along the way they could expand the court. These players are too big and fast for the same court size they played on in the '50s. No wonder refs are constantly missing calls.

If it's so bad that stories about game-fixing by refs are not discounted out of hand, then there's a serious problem.

7. Have to agree. NBA refs suck donkey balls.

They have for years. The commissioner telephones the head of an officiating crew and tells him to make sure that so and so player gets 2 or 3 quick fouls early in a game, just to make the outcome of the game or series "more interesting". Sometimes, the NBA refs make Boxing judges seem competent.

9. What burns me is...

the fines these guys get when they tell the truth about these chicken shit refs. But they are the stars now. What is funny is they don't need the fines. No coach worth a damn is gonna say so and so really sucks he is the worst because that guy is going to work his games again and if he does say it then the Ref could get even by screwing him over some more.

By April Davey will be really have his boys in fine shape. And if you cross Davey your ass is grass.
