Poll question: SO. What's the deal with Danica?
This chick is hot.
And she can flat out freaking' drive.
You lead the Indy 500 for 19 laps and your fast.

The pressure on her to win a race is unrealistic.
Some of these clowns on the track wait 35 to 40 races before they win one.

She's a rookie.

She wins a lot of poles, so again she's fast.
Really fast.

But, in a race she seems to be unable to run up front with the big boys.

She always seems to be going from 2nd or 3rd to 12th or 13th.

With that being said, is her inability to run up front may be due to:

4. Chocker
Could it be that she is a chocker. I would like it if she were to win some races, but maybe she just chocks a large amount of the time. It is just like some of the football players who win the Hiesman and then go into a championship game and cannot perform. Look at Jason White. Hiesman trophy winner, went to two championship games and played horribly in each one.

5. My personal guess
Having not watched her drive, but hearing about her, is that racing is an ole boys club, and we know what the ole boys will do to keep a woman from being sucessful in such a situation. I believe she has likely been set up.

6. Watch for Katherine Legge
Danica raced in Atlantics and never won. Katherine already has 3 wins (I believe) in the series, becoming the first female to win a major open-wheel race in North America.

I'm looking forward to the time when racers are racers and their gender isn't an issue.

I don't care if they're "hot" except on the track.
