I'm leaning to the Chargers, but I would like to hear some educated opinions. And please, no haters.

1. I'd go Chargers, but it's just a hunch.
I don't know enough about either team to make an informed decision.

2. All right, I'm getting ready to go to the game right now ..
which way do you think this Charger seasonticket holder is leaning?

Just kidding (although I really AM getting ready to go to the game).

I'm going to be on Monday night football!

I'll be the 47-year-old nutty-lookin' ol' lady with the hair painted powder blue.

yeah .. I'm excited.

Cleaning the house .. so the babysitter won't think we're lowlifes.

Getting the pizza out of the refrigerator.

Small things. Put the housekey in Beloved Daughter's backpack - the neighbor is going to pick her up from school.

As you can see .. it is Mom and Dad's Big Night Out.

Ha! Read the rest of your post. Going to have a few tall ones tonight.

3. to win or cover?
as much as i hate to admit it, i think the stiLLers wiLL win this game.
i think SD is better on paper, and at home BUT, pittsburgh is coming off a bye week (and a sore home Loss) and the chargers are coming off a totaL ass-kicking of the pats (the team that beat pittsburgh the week prior).
so, it seems that the chargers shouLd win this one handedLy.... and because of that, i suggest betting against the grain.

4. I picked Tampa Bay to win outright this week...
...so I'd take any advice from my with a grain of salt.

But I'd take the Steelers and the points.

5. Pick the Steelers
They lost their last game to the NE Patriots (again) and are looking to get back on their winning track.

Of course, I could be biased.:P

8. Do you think the Chargers thumping of the Pats may give them
the advantage in this one? I am concerned, though, that Pittsburgh had a couple of weeks to prepare for this one.

13. I say Chargers.
I don't think Cowher can use a bye week to his full advantage.
