Video: Joe Kapp fights Angelo Mosca at CFL banquet
A grudge from 1963?

Joe Kapp, who played one season as the Boston Patriots' quarterback in 1970, is an Internet sensation today because video of his fight with fellow former Canadian Football League player Angelo Mosca is making the rounds.

4. Kapp actually coached Cal.
I believe he was the head coach at Cal during the famous kick return against Stanford.

6. Yes he was
he had regular "ball drills" ( yes I know) in which players volleyed the ball around. Linebackers, linemen, etc who usually don't have to handle the balls (yes I know).

7. I remember going to a Boston Patriot's game at Harvard Stadium.
Back then, it was not the league it is today.

It was a BYOB game back then and people brought cases of beer to the game and sat on them. That game was in the winter and the stadium was barely shoveled out from a recent snowstorm. Kapp was sucking as usual and by the 2nd half, snowballs were getting thrown at him. One hit him in the helmet and he turned in the general direction and gave the crowd both barrels of the 1 finger salute. That was quickly followed with hundreds of snowballs aimed at Kapp. His was a short career in Boston and, needless to say, Joe will never be ranked as one of the Patriot's more beloved QBs.
