1. I would move to Miami if my Marlins actually signed all three
Realistically, I'm hoping at least Reyes and Buerhle.

4. And attendance of probably 5-10k per game
new stadium or not. Baseball is a failure in Miami and they need a new city.

8. HORRIBLE place
The majority of the Marlins fanbase is in Broward and Palm Beach counties. None of whom want to contend with Miami traffic along I-95. On top of that, Little Havana is a low-income area, surrounded by other low income areas. These fans cannot afford a baseball ticket. AND, it is also located in a high-crime area. Not exactly the recipe for a winning combination. It is a white elephant, much like the Miami Arena was. Once the novelty wears off in 2-3 seasons, it's going to sit largely vacant. Before the whole stadium debacle with the city of Miami, Fort Lauderdale was GIVING the Marlins land for a new stadium but they refused. They snuffed the heart of their population base to cater a a minority of the fans in the community. As a longtime fan, I think it's time to find a new team. They certainly did it to themselves.

9. oh please
I went to hundreds of games at the orange bowl and there was very little crime. Its in a lower middle class area of little havana with hard working people.

11. Most of the season is sold out already
The stadium is beautiful. I can't wait to go and I live in St Lucie County (2 hours north).

I loved the Pitbull concert they had on Friday. It was fun!! Also, I love the new uniforms. It's a refreshing change :)
