2. That article doesn't say anything about the Rangers blaming the call for the loss
The only quote from the Rangers is the manager saying it was a bad call, which is appropriate given that it was a bad call.

Yeah, if the Rangers were trying to claim that they lost a game by 9 runs due to a single bad call at first base, that would certainly be stupid but the article doesn't indicate this happened.

14. I agree. Article says nothing about Rangers blaming the loss on the ump.
Washington said it was a bad call, which was the truth. Everyone who saw the replay agreed, including the ump. The writer of the article said it "led to 4 runs." That may or may not be true, hard to know, as the correct call would not have ended the inning, so the best you can say with certainty is that it led to one run, the guy who wasn't called out and later scored. Nevertheless, it was the writer of the article who said that, not the Rangers.

3. Ask the 1987 St. Louis Cardinals about losing the series on a bad call
The Redbirds had a legitimate beef about game 6.

If a team loses a game 16-7, then it was a lot more than just a bad call by the umpire.

6. Actually the shots I saw of *, he looked totally oblivious to the game. It was more of a
"where's my beer" look, after his eighth one.
