Lincecum trashed S.F. townhouse, suit claims

Giants pitcher Tim Lincecum trashed his townhouse in San Francisco's Mission District, causing at least $200,000 in damage to the furnished unit, according to a lawsuit filed by his former landlord.

Lincecum "broke plaintiff's personal property" and "stained, defaced, tore, injured or destroyed" items around the time his lease expired Feb. 28 at 141 Hampshire St., said the suit filed Wednesday in San Francisco Superior Court by the ex-landlord, Mindy Freile.

Lincecum damaged "bedding, doors, carpet, pillows, kitchenware, linens, furniture, household appliances, art work, decorations, patio furniture, lights, lamps and mirrors, among other things," said the suit, which seeks $350,000 in damages.
