1. You're bragging about Reggie Bush?
He's going into the Ryan Leaf Draft Bust Hall of Fame.

7. That's an all time idiotic comparison
For one thing, the Dolphins have had the most anemic punt return game in the league for years, with Davone Bess and his inability to outrun a lamp post. Bush provides instant spark, as evidenced by 4 career TD returns and numerous near misses. He's not the most consistent returner but he can break them. For years I've insisted the Dolphins aren't even trying to compete if they pay no attention to the return game and cheap yards. This is the first hint of intelligence by Jeff Ireland.

Besides, anything that prompts Ronnie Brown off the team is a massive plus. Dolphin fans have tried to kid themselves about Ronnie for years. He's a little of this and a little of that, equating to not much of anything, particularly approaching his 30th birthday. Last year he got 200 attempts and his yards per carry plummeted to 3.7.

12. Never ever? Forever, ever, forever, ever?
Don't mind me but I like Outkast but the Dolphins actually won their division in 2008. Admittedly Ronnie Brown got most of the carries but Ricky Williams was on the team when they made the playoffs. He had 160 carries that year.

16. Leave it to you...
to look up the stats and correct me. I read that somewhere. I didn't make it up on my own. It must have been an old statement before 2008. And I thought Ricky was still injured in 2008.

I also liked Ricky - when he was with Texas and before he went off the deep end.

11. A decent pickup for the Phins, but I don't think anyone is jealous.
A 3rd down back and returner will never inspires that much jealousy.

17. Former Dolphin Ronnie Brown signs with Eagles
<snip>

"The Philadelphia Eagles just added another big catch. Running back Ronnie Brown, the Dolphins’ 2005 second overall selection, has agreed to terms of a one-year contract with Philadelphia on Tuesday, sources said.

Brown was between four teams – the Eagles, the Ravens, the Chargers and the Rams – but ultimately chose the Eagles despite being offered less money than any of the other three teams. He wants two things: Wins and redemption.

Despite Brown’s willingness to return to the team with limited pay, the Dolphins did not express any interest in re-signing Brown since the lockout ended, sources said. He’ll have a chance for redemption on Dec. 11 when the Eagles play Miami."

I really liked him, but he was never able to get over that hump. There goes another one of my Dolphins Jerseys - at least I can wear my JT jersey again!!
