Jeopardy! contestant: Cam Newton went to… Ohio State?

Look, I understand there are plenty of people who don’t follow college football as closely as many of you do.

Like NASCAR, for example. I thought Denny Hamlin, Kurt (or, is it Kyle?) Busch, Carl Edwards and seven of those other “Young Guns” were the same person.

(Writer’s note: in the interest of full disclosure, I’m a Jeff Gordon fan myself)

So, it’s always at least slightly humorous when someone mixes up a player or a coach. Especially on national television. In this case, it was a Jeopardy! contestant who thought Auburn’s Cam Newton went to Ohio State.

his father DID get from Auburn is a pittance compared to what he could have gotten at OSU.
