Lets go Pirates.
Pirates get insurance run, 2-0 now Pitt. C'mon Pittsburgh, do it as revenge for the AFC Championship game last year.

3. Yeah, the Sox had put together a 5 game win streak,
and closed to within 2 games of the Os. Now it's back to 3 games down and the Yanks are now 5 games out after their win today.
Crap. x(

4. Well lets just hope the Yankees lose
and hope that Toronton bumps them off third in the division.

7. Yanks won today
8-1 as Wang won again. That's 5 in a row. Things are going in the right direction.

8. bummer
we've won four of our last five though so I am happy with those results though I at the very least want to a series split with the Yankees at the end of the month, ideally a sweep but they're not the same team that was swepted in April.

9. I think we are turning it around
the offense is really clicking now with Matsui, Bernie and Giambi getting hot. I'm going to the Yanks-O's on the 28th.

10. They are
Its concerning me but I am happy that the Orioles have still played well despite the injuries, though I want Javy Lopez and Erik Bedard back big time, Matos could be back in the lineup tommorow. The young players that have been recalled to play in their place have done a good job, Sal Fasano does a pretty good job catching and has some pop in his bat too, the many outfielders that have been recalled have also done good too namely Screech Florentino. I hope the Orioles though work on getting longer winning streaks but I have been very impressed by their ability to stay out of a losing slide, thats what killed them last year along with the piss poor start pitching until Ray Miller came back, I looked at the Media Guide I bought last night and they just had too many long losing streaks.

5. Things will shift in this great race after the Full Moon on June 22
I think Boston will be in the mix come September and October, and I am willing to wager a molasses-drenched bean on it. Things about to shift. (Fingers crossed).

6. I'll bet you a crab that we win the division
but on a serious note, you guys are "in the mix", the Red Sox are in second place right now and would have only been a game out if the O's had lost tonight and they won. The Yankees still have to overcome you guys if they wanna get the Division, and I think the Sox can hold it, I hope so at least, I'd rather and no offense towards Sox fans but I'd rather have them on my back than the Yankees.

12. The O's need to stay strong
It's high time those 200 million payroll Yanks and, dare I say it even the much beloved and forever cursed Red Sox need to be cut down a notch or two. Let's face it, It will be good for baseball.

Now don't nobody go to picking on my Cardinals. K

13. I'm not going to pick on the Cards, just correct your statement:
"the much beloved and forever cursed Red Sox" should read as:

"the much beloved and no longer cursed Red Sox."

;)

15. Yeah, it is nice -- but you have reason to be happy.
The Yanks just took 3 straight from the Cubs, giving the Cards a VERY comfortable lead in the NL Central.

18. It would be good so I can finally taste playoff glory
for a change, the Yanks meanwhile need to be humbled, I am sorry but they've made the playoffs every year since I was in 3rd grade, they need to feel what others go through, hell it may make some of their bandwagon fans understand what its really like to have a team to root for, a team that you root for even in defeat, which is the story of my life the past few years.
