AP basketball poll, what a joke!

The Pitt Panthers got worked by the Vols IN PITTSBURGH. Pitt's only lead was 2-0, Vols were ahead for 38+ minutes, at one point in the second by over 20 points. The Vols were better in every phase on Saturday, and now own the nation's top RPI, having played the 2nd strongest schedule to this point without a loss. AP writers leave Pitt at #3, and move UT up from 12 to 11. Meanwhile 3 loss Michigan State can apparently remain in the top ten indefinitely, just as long as all the teams that beat them are good.

Objectively, now that Duke is without their star point guard, isn't the RPI probably right? UT ought to be #1, since Ohio State has played no one other than Florida, and they can't even crack the top ten! I guess it's a good thing that, unlike in football, these polls don't actually matter to the teams, just to bored fanatics like myself....
