Giants resign Aubrey Huff..


The Giants have announced they signed first baseman/outfielder Aubrey Huff to a two-year contract with a third-year option, a significant step in retaining the core of the offense that led them to a World Series championship.

"We're extremely excited to be able to sign Aubrey," GM Brian Sabean said in a statement. "He was an integral part of the team's success last season, not only with his outstanding play in the field but also providing a great clubhouse presence."

Deal is reportedly worth 22 million. Just great news for Giants fans..

Where would they have been without him? I think almost all Giants fans are glad he's coming back..I know I am.

3. I'm hoping Brandon Belt will be ready to play first base
That'll put Huff in the outfield. Need to solidify 3rd and short next.
