Texas High School Football Playoffs

Please allow me a short bragging session, but on Saturday my senior son's football team Kingwood Park played in their first playoff game ever. This is only their second varsity year because they are a new school in the 4A district. They played the #2ranked in the district, Brenham and beat them 29-24. This was supposed to just be a practice game for Brenham - they were predicted to take the State Championship, but I'm so proud of these young men who went out against all odds and played their hearts out. We are on to play Dayton next week. I hope my voice comes back by then!
