I have always pictured someone named Chipper as wearing a sweater around his waist and sunglasses raised on his head.

9. The best argument in his favor
is that his plaque would bear his true and actual name, "Larry" -- which he despises. Opposing fans, notably the Mets', caught on and started derisive chants of "Lar-ry! Lar-ry! Lar-ry!" when he came to bat.
