2. Against the AL, he's allowed 10 runs in 19 2/3 innings.
not bad, but not a guaranteed winner, either.

19. Josh Johnson should have pitched the whole game
That kid was amazing. His 2 innings included 2 K's and a magnificent catch by Braun in Left Field. Just happy that the NL finally won. Maybe this will start a new streak!!

3. Well, Ubaldo did his job and kept it scorless through 2 innings. I'm happy.
:)

Now, we just need the NL to go out there and score some runs and win for the first time in 13 years...

4. This is boring..
for the last month I've been watching replays of WC matches about this time. Now, I've got to put up with Buck and McCarver...is there a worse broadcasting team in all of sports?

7. The World Cup is great theater
there's really nothing quite like it in the sports world. The fact that you don't understand the game is your loss, believe me...I've been on both sides of the fence.

First you were wanking to the sight of Barroid, and then you found him un-interesting.

Douche.

14. Okay..
remain ignorant..I don't care.

And why should I be interested in someone who no longer plays for the Giants? When the charges against him are resolved, I'll comment...otherwise, I don't give a fuck.

I still revere Willie Stargell and the rest of the Pirates from the 60's and 70's and would never think about throwing them under the bus like you apparently are more than willing to do with your roider.

A REAL SPORTS FAN sticks with his/her player through thick and thin, unless of course the player kills a couple of people.

douche.

16. You're just the kind of
douche that would dump a player you used to idolize the minute they leave the team you like.

Douche.

17. Brian McCann was the hero
Secondly was David Wright. Two solid hits and a stolen base. He came to play.

My Dodgers aquitted themselves well, except for Kuo. He got toasted by the jitters. But Ethier had a fine game and Broxton notched the save. The manager knew better than to trust Brian Wilson with it.

20. Wilson had a 1-2-3 eighth
meanwhile Broxton not only gave up two hits but he had to be helped by Girardi's failure to pinch run for Ortiz. Broxton probably would have blown the save like last year's NLCS otherwise.

21. Justify it all you want...
Bottom line..Broxton was entrusted with the save and not Wilson, and it was sucessfully converted.
